Holidays in Costa Adeje are spot on for those looking for a happy medium between bustling and secluded. With the spectacular sight of Mount Teide forming the back drop to the resort you may well be surprised to find a modern resort in such a natural setting. Costa Adeje is considered to be the most upmarket area of Las Americas. It has a quiet airy atmosphere and the El Duque beach (50 metres away) is probably the best in south Tenerife so this is an ideal place for family holidays. sun, and sea are not all there is on offer. Costa Adeje also contains one of the best Golf Courses on Tenerife, Golf Costa Adeje, included in the PGA tour. Costa Adeje is an extension of Playa de las Americas. This is certainly a quieter resort than Playa de las Americas which is just a short taxi ride away, therefore, well suited to families with young children. Same with Ibiza weather, the Costa Adeje region enjoys a sunny, dry climate, with warm summers and mild pleasant winters. For all its relaxed, intimate atmosphere, Costa Adeje is not a small resort, though - bright clusters of stylish new apartments create a core of enticing, restaurant-lined avenues and paved squares. Costa Adeje area have some of the best beaches in southern Tenerife island.



With three excellent sandy stretches to chose from - Troya I, Troya II and Playa Fanabe - all with Blue Flags flying high, beach-lovers will find their holidays just heaven here. If you are looking for quiet, calm evenings then Costa Adeje is definitely a good choice of resort with much of the entertainment taking place in hotels. Within the village of inland Adeje there's lots to discover, with plenty of historical buildings including the Strong house, dating back to 1555. There's also a convent dating from 1679 with interesting Baroque bordering, the Casa del Duqe and the pretty Santa Ursula Church which is an important monument.

Costa Adeje is pretty unique in its range, miles of coast, a host of traditional Canarian villages, the latest in shopping centres, wild mountain walks and state of the art theme parks. The basic needs of food and accomodation are here in every form from small pensions to 5 star hotels and cheap tapas bars to a la carte restaurants. Things are changing fast in Costa Adeje, new urbanisations are springing up around the old town, the beaches are continually being improved and the entertainment sector is trying to meet the demanding standards of tourists and re located ex pats as they settle into their new homes.
