Los Cristianos is a relaxed and picturesque resort which was once a small fishing village but has now grown into a popular tourist destination. It is still dominated by its harbour and fishing boats and has a daily fish market where fresh fish can be bought. The seafront and 'old town' are mostly pedestrianised and crammed with shops, restaurants and entertainment to suit couples and families. Los Cristianos has 2 fabulous beaches, the man-made Las Vistas beach has golden sands and shelves gently to the crystal waters of the Atlantic Ocean making it most suitable for all ages. Los Cristianos is just 3 km from the livelier resort of Playa de las Americas and a pleasant stroll along the promenade which links the 2 resorts is a must! It is lined with restaurants to suit every taste.

Ferries run on frequent daily crossings between Los Cristianos and La Gomera which is approximately 25 km off the coast of Tenerife, the ferry crossing and an organized tour of La Gomera can all be arranged in Los Cristianos.
